Teens interested in serving on the Teen Advisory Group (TAG) should submit their applications by September 30. This group of 11 to 17 year olds will advise the library on the types of programming that will best benefit area youth. Planning meetings are short (even Skyped, in some instances) and the major membership requirement is that youth show up to programs at either Headquarters or their local location ready to work AND have fun. The first term runs from January to December of 2013, beginning with an Installation Reception this December.
Make sure you check out YA@AL this Fall! It’s no longer just your parent’s library.
